Lemon Juice as a Bleach alternative?? I have to say bleach is around for a reason. Although it stinks and is bad when not on whites, it really does do the job. The lemon juice could not compare to the bleach and the job that bleach can do. I would not use lemon juice again and will just stick to my good ole' bleach.

I have well water and my water makes my whites dingy. Bleach doesn't do a thing to whiten them, but I have found soaking in lemon juice does. I was shocked, but it did work for me. I had a white comforter that looked grey. I had tried everything and lemon juice did the trick.
