I know there are several methods on Pinterest to make peeling hard boiled eggs easier but, I have to say, after trying this one, this is not one of them. With this method you add some baking soda to your pot with the water and egg. Once this was done I did not find it any easier to peel than without the baking soda just the same old peeling process I was used too.

I've tried this combined with using older eggs... I have had success. Sometimes boiled eggs peal "normally"... easy, shell brakes off in bigger pieces, etc. Other times the shell is attached to the egg white and creates divots and takes chunks out of the egg... I do think the baking soda helps to prevent that, but it doesn't do anything miraculous compared to the "normal" pealing a boiled egg scenario...
